I ended up reading 28 books in 2024 which is 5 books less than I read in 2023 and almost half as many of the 50 books I read in 2022. So the plan is to definitely read more than 28 books in 2025 or it’ll start to look like I’m devolving with age.
I’ll try to buy fewer books this year as I have so many unread books piled up around me. I can’t promise anything though as I can’t help myself. I see something that sounds interesting and I buy it. It’s just how it works.
Let me know if you have any MUST READ book recommendations.
Books Read in January
- Tada! None. I read quite a bit but I didn’t finish anything. I don’t start one book and read it until I finish it. I’m always reading 10 or 20 at once as I like to jump between topics.
February Books
- Imminent: Inside the Pentagon’s Hunt for UFOs by Luis Elizondo
I take everything written on the UFO or UAP topic with a grain of salt and a whole salt shaker filled with salt if it’s written by a politician or a dedicated system man. Elizondo is the latter but I still enjoyed the book.
March Books
- 0 Books: I read most days, I just didn’t finish any books.
April Books
- The Superbeings by John Randolph Price
This was a quick read as it was only about 120 pages. It was a good reminder to always be reading something positive. In a world that is designed to bring us down it’s super important to be continually working on increasing our energy. If we’re not consciously working on improving ourselves we’re going backwards as the monsters are continually working on bringing us down. There is no idle or neutral gear, it’s either forward because of our own actions or we’re being pushed backwards. I went off topic there but the book was fine. It was a reminder so it was worth reading.
May Books I Read
- Influence Empire: The Story of Tencent and China’s Tech Ambition by Lulu Yilun Chen
I have been thinking of investing in Asia and Tencent is a company I have been looking into so I grabbed this book by Lulu Yilun Chen. It looks at tech in China with companies like Alibaba and billionaire founder Jack Ma but focuses on the Tencent business and enigmatic founder Pony Ma (no relation to Jack). I came away with a much better understanding of the company and how far and wide the tentacles reach.
